Gentleman Swine, how would you describe bate coaching?

For me, coaching is taking an active role through verbal and physical expression to increase the energy and opportunity of a masturbation gathering, whether online or in person. I see it as trying to connect all the bators into one shared, mutually fueled pleasure experience and to deepen the connection in this most intimate and vulnerable moment. 

In one sense, masturbation can be kinda boring to watch; it’s just the up-and-down, but it’s much more fascinating to dial into what’s driving the arousal, what is this person going through, what they’re feeling, what triggers and memories they’re accesing, what kind of healing is being sought through self touch, and how this person expresses their erotic maleness. And you are much more interesting and erotic to bate with when you express what you’re going through. Voyeur and exhibitionist all rolled into one. 

It can also be quite erotic and empowering to be invited or even “ordered” to self-pleasure more openly and proudly show off your sex and body when our parents/partners/religion/the world tells us to shame and hide our sex. 

Coaches invite, give permission, and encourage you to engage, explore, and get more out of a pleasure session with others.

What inspired you to become a bate coach?

I’ve always been verbal in my sex play but I started coaching bate groups because I was in zoom calls from Bateworld that had lots of guys stroking, but everyone was being quiet and passive… So I started throwing out some favorite themes, highlighting and complimenting what each bator is trying to show off, inviting verbal engagement through callbacks, and pushing the energy up. 

Masturbation can become a passive, receptive activity since we are typically alone, consuming porn, and drawing stimulation in. But when we turn the camera on (or go to a bate gathering or have 1:1 penis play) and choose to show ourselves naked and aroused, we want to be seen, affirmed, accepted, and arousing to the others doing the exact same thing. In these moments of being seen and receiving the acknowledgement and approval of fellow nude erect masturbating men, there’s a fascinating and rare opportunity for safe self expression, joy, male bonding, and healing…all woven in with the erotic hotness. 

I believe in these vulnerable moments we are showing our true human selves, not the labels, identities, and affectations that we present in public. I love being a part of that honest raw sharing.

Who is bate coaching for? Why?

Every guy can more fully maximize the pleasure, self expression, and personal utility of their solosexual practice. Being reflective and intentional about how and why you practice solo-sex can offer incredible insights into what arouses you, why, and how you can deepen connections to yourself, your sex, your spirituality, and those you’re spending time with in this beautiful intimate state. 

Most of us grow up with so much shame and hiding around masturbation as kids and even as adults (and even in queer sexual settings). And men typically masturbate alone, often while hiding from partners. So it can become a very insular, hidden, or even self-shamed activity, or a practice that we love to do (a lot!) but don’t talk about or share insights with non-bator lovers or close friends. 

Bators who choose to go on-cam or bate in person and allow themselves to be more fully expressed and communicate their pleasure deepen their own experience and also invite more focused intentional engagement from those around them. Plus it is just fucking hot to see someone show you how much pleasure they’re in and showing that off proudly to you. 

So in a sense, everyone can be a bate coach by encouraging yourself and your bate-partners to demonstrate and invite even more vulnerability and expressiveness in shared male pleasure. Coaches just take on that responsibility for the whole group. 

How would you describe your bate coach style and philosophy?

There are a lot of amazing coaches online and on various video compilations and SoundCloud accounts. I’m sure you have your favorites; it’s beautiful audio porn from bro-y to goony to hypno to many other forms of penis encouragement. 

When I coach a live room on-cam or in person, I try to acknowledge the beauty of what each person is showing, call out the courage and strength it takes to be so vulnerable in front of strangers, find the common erotic connections to the current moment or our common lived experiences, and invite a more loving and full expression of maleness.

I try to get the guys to go “deeper”, which is really about more intentional connection and celebration of their male body, claiming the healing and loving space that shared pleasure can be, and dropping self-censorship and programmed self-shame in front of an appreciative and accepting (and aroused) audience.

Tell us your most memorable group bate coaching situation. Why? 

We have a great monthly public masturbation gathering in San Francisco called Guerilla Jacks. They have a big warehouse space and have offered me one of the large rooms to create a focused coaching scene. I set up dim lighting, lasers, smoke machine, penis porn on one wall, sexy music, and, I think very importantly, the chairs in one big large circle with mats on the floor in the middle. I even put a LED campfire in the center of the room so we can bate together around the campfire. Typically over 75 guys are in that room for all 3 hours. 

I love when I can get the guys to a level of fueling each other through proud visual and verbal self expression. I just get the flow going and invite each guy to go deeper, express themselves to the other guys, give and receive good bate, and let the group energy take over. I can sense when the group is locking in together, supporting each other, and being more verbally and physically expressive than they normally are at home or even with partners. As the coach, I can then say less and let the room fly on its own.

Seeing men take themselves into this deeper mindspace of self connection and shared pleasure is incredibly rewarding (and hot!) for me as a coach. Each bator helps fuel the entire room to a higher state of shared maleness and ecstasy. It’s a beautiful and powerful experience. And, I think the self awareness and confidence from proud open group bating can be deeply healing and valuable to our self confidence and how we carry ourselves in the outside world.
